GAME ONThe Junior Tennis Champions Center
The Washington DC Department of Parks and Recreation, GEICO, and the Junior Tennis Champions Center are working together to expand high quality tennis instruction to youth in the District of Columbia. These three entities have collaborated to create GAME ON, an
initiative which selects the most talented and motivated young
players from the inner city to join JTCC’s intense training program. Upon completion of this program, the goal is for each student to earn a scholarship to leading colleges and universities. Students are chosen to join JTCC’s program on the basis of athletic ability, desire to succeed, and ability to concentrate on the sport.
About the Game On Program:
- Our mission is to provide inner city children with the opportunity to learn the sport of tennis and eventually earn college scholarships
- Every dollar raised will go directly to full year scholarship for inner city children in JTCC’s Champions program
- Each child in the program receives a new racquet, a new pair of tennis shoes, and tennis clothing
